About

Wildflower Quarters is a new eco-stay set within our nine-acre Greenstead, surrounded by rolling paddocks and gentle country rhythms. Mornings begin with natural light, fresh air and coffee as friendly alpacas graze nearby. Designed as a calm, cocoon-like retreat, Wildflower offers a luxe king bed, gentle interiors and a Teahouse-inspired touch - a place to slow down and reset. As evening arrives, the atmosphere shifts, inviting unhurried moments indoors and an easy sense of comfort.

Wildflower Quarters sits within the original Greenstead, a gently evolving country homestead shaped by regeneration, seasonal living and a slower relationship with the land. This is the home and inspiration behind the weekly 'Greenstead Life' podcast, where reflections on simple living, self-reliance and life beyond the rush are drawn directly from this place. The wider property includes rolling paddocks, young food forest plantings and open green spaces, with alpacas and miniature sheep roaming nearby as part of everyday life here. Some areas of the land are actively regenerating and may be planted, fenced or resting as part of the long-term horticultural design. Wildflower Quarters shares a roof with Stringybark Quarters, with no shared internal spaces. Banjo’s Cabin is located separately elsewhere on the acreage. Each stay has been thoughtfully positioned to balance comfort, ease and a sense of space.

Other Details to Note

Wildflower Quarters welcomes couples or solo travellers aged 20 years and over. There is no oven or cooktop. Fires of any kind are not permitted on the property, including personal fire pits, BBQs, outdoor cooking equipment, candles, open flames or personal firewood. Swimming is not permitted in the pond, and the use of drones is not permitted due to the impact on animals and neighbouring properties. The property isn’t suitable for parties, events, or visitors. Smoking or vaping isn’t permitted indoors, and pets aren’t able to be accommodated. Please don't access the lower gate on the main driveway marked for Banjo’s Cabin, as this area is reserved for Banjo’s Cabin guests.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the open areas of the Greenstead during their stay, including walking areas and shared outdoor spaces around the homestead and paddocks. For safety and animal wellbeing, access inside animal enclosures and feeding is by invitation only. Wildflower Quarters is fully self-contained with a private entrance and dedicated parking right beside the door. Check-in is simple and contactless via keybox, allowing you to arrive and settle in at your own pace.

What a special place. We stayed in Gumnut Cottage and it was such a memorable experience. From the goats and sheep, to the incredible views, to the amenities and the comfy bed. Everything felt right and we wished we'd booked for longer!
